What's Coming
Five key welfare initiatives — each designed to address a specific and urgent need within our communities.
A structured, comprehensive program providing in-home care, companionship visits, and daily support for senior citizens aged 60 and above across Karachi. Covers physical assistance, nutritional support, and emotional engagement.
Free health checkup camps and medical screening drives across underserved neighborhoods in Karachi and Sindh. Targeted at elderly individuals and low-income families who lack access to affordable healthcare.
A sustained community education campaign to raise awareness about elderly welfare, senior citizen rights, available resources, and how communities can identify and support isolated neighbors and family members.
Regular social gatherings, cultural celebrations, hobby groups, and recreational activities specifically designed to promote inclusion, mental wellbeing, and a sense of joy and purpose among elderly individuals.
PMWO's signature companion program formally pairs trained volunteers with senior citizens for consistent, meaningful engagement — weekly visits, phone calls, shared activities, and genuine intergenerational friendship.
